In this symposium, a roundtable discussion of clinical dilemmas in atopic dermatitis (AD), case studies will be used to illustrate the topics of continuous management for long-term control of inflammation, treating to patient goals, and the spectrum of therapy from topical to systemic treatment. The speakers will also review the evolving landscape of therapeutic targets in AD.

In this panel discussion, the speakers will discuss the emerging role of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors in dermatological diseases, with an emphasis on atopic dermatitis (AD). The speakers will also discuss the clinical rationale for the approach of JAK inhibition, including the fundamental role of JAKs in their role of regulating cytokine networks, their role in the regulation of itch in AD, and the future directions for treatment of dermatological diseases.
