® The 12 th EADV Spring Symposium offered an attractive new format promoted by the SPC Chairman Prof Martin Röcken, with well-diffe- rentiated tracks offered to Board-Certified dermatologists (review and updates sessions) and to young trainees (training and educatio- nal forum). The Symposium Chairman, Prof Eduardo Nagore, together with Prof Erwin Tschachler, the EADV President, welcomed those attending the networking symposium, which kicked off the official opening. It was followed by a wonderful performance with local dancers. Valencia, a city with a rich and varied history, was enjoyed by all par- ticipants while strolling the streets during their leisure time, taking in the many landmarks, including the Gothic Cathedral displaying Goya’s paintings and tasting the renowned Spanish cuisine that this vibrant city had to offer. The meeting closed with the traditional passing of the EADV flag to Prof Alexander Stratigos for the 13 th Spring Symposium in Athens.
