® Ten years after the last EADV annual congress in Paris in 2008, France’s stunning capital was once again the host city, this time of the 27 th Congress. All the records were broken in Paris with almost 13,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, more than 750 speakers, and 170 exhibitors. As always, the four-day programme was packed with the latest science across all areas of Dermatology and Venerology with a particular focus on Clinical Oncology. The Congress President Prof Carle Paul was everywhere solving any issues which arose. The outstanding programme was organised in 3 tracks: review and updates, training and educational forums, and expert forums, where renowned leaders shared their insights and experience. In addition, there were also practical workshops covering basic and advanced surgery, allergology, basic laser treatments, phlebology and many more topics. The ever popular full-day Aesthetic Sunday pro- gramme, which covered basic, advanced, and hot topics in cosme- tic and aesthetic dermatology, closed the very successful 27 th EADV Congress. The excellent programme had been carefully prepared by the Scientific Programming Committee, chaired by Prof Brigitte Dréno. In closing, all participants felt that Paris was the perfect setting to discuss best practices, the ideal exchange platform to stimulate inte- raction and the idyllic location to network and meet with peers.
